Events Round Up 14th-16th June

We're halfway through the week and beginning to look forward to the weekend here at Mad World. We have been helping our customers get ready for their fancy dress events today. There is lots going on this weekend - everything from murder mystery evenings to stag dos as well as the events featured below!

The new Superman film, Man Of Steel, is released in cinemas this Friday and we predict a rise in popularity for our Superman costumes this summer! We have superhero costumes to hire from £35.

Immersive movie experience Future Cinema has announced their latest event at The Troxy in East London. They will be transforming the grand venue into a recreation of 70s classic Saturday Night Fever - featuring disco balls, cocktails, dancing competitions and “many other secret happenings”. Lose yourself in disco, dress in the best 70s fashions and hairstyles whilst becoming part of the Brooklyn underworld with Tony's crew.  We have an extensive range of 70s disco outfits for males and females available for hire – including the classic John Travolta white suit! Have a look at the galleries on our website for ideas.

Also this Saturday, Belle Epoque Party takes place at the Bloomsbury Ballroom. The theme this time is Dark Circus and is hosted in conjunction with famous fetish club Torture Garden and will feature aerial acrobatics, theatrical performances, decadent cocktails and more.

For ladies, think corsets, stockings, feathers, chokers, big hair, Bohemian Parisienne chic...... For gents, try top hats, tails, whips, artists, poets, creatives. Ewan McGregor in Moulin Rouge is a good starting point.. We have a selection of items to hire starting at £15 for a top hat up to £60 for a full costume.
