Absolutely. There's no point having a fantastic costume if it gets soiled while you're transporting it. That's why every hired costume is provided in a personalised see-through garment bag.

Do you take a cash deposit for costume hire?
No, we do not require a cash deposit. Instead, credit card details are taken as security when you pay for your costume hire.

Are your Venetian masks really handmade and hand-painted?
Yes. Every mask is handmade and hand-painted in Venice using a tradition that is over 200 years old.

Which is the busiest time of the year for Mad World?
Definitely Halloween. We always recommend visiting our store early in October to avoid the rush.

How do I order a mail order costume?
Simply call us or email us. We'll send you a measurement guide, help you choose the right costume, and arrange for it to be delivered to your door by courier.

Are you open on Sundays?
Not during the summer months, but we are open on Sundays from September each year.

Do I have to wash or clean my costume before returning it?
No. Our hire costumes are specialist garments, so there is no need to wash or clean them before returning them. Our experienced team will take care of the cleaning.
